Cyber Security and Elections (August 2020)
I served as a panelist, along with Brigadier General Francis X. Taylor (Ret.) of US Cyberdome, as part of the INFORMS webinar series on operations research and policymaking. We discuss the state of elections security in the run-up to the 2020 General Election. I also cover COVID-19 implications to the election, and the scale-up of mail-based voting during the pandemic.

INFORMS Government and Analytics Summit (May 2018)
This inaugural event was held in May 2018 in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The summit featured panels on national security, healthcare, and transportation, and I was honored to serve as a panelist for National Security. Our goal was to communicate the value of applying operations research and analytics methods and techniques to national security problems. Our audience was policymakers and congressional staffers who are well versed in national security but may not have a mathematics and decision analysis background.
